Apophenia

In an attempt to make our world building easier, we'll use this blog to collate our thoughts and ideas.

Magpies, the number 23 and the time 11:11 are good examples of apophenia, which is the "experience of seeing patterns or connections in random or meaningless data". Coincidence and synchronicity are part of this too. The fundamental question that it brings up is 'is there a secret architecture to the universe that can be known, and if known, manipulated or at least experienced from an external perspective'.

To think that there could be an architecture to EVERYTHING, would imply that the universe, it's exterior included, should all comprise of ONE blueprint or arena. Because rules on a quantum level change dramatically, it's feasable that there is an opposite to quantum where rules that we're aware of don't apply on an enormous scale. This being the 4th dimension/immateria/wonderland.

Quantum is merely the atoms of a wasp in a library.
